  1. Where can I have my skip dropped?
    Skips can be dropped on a private property such as your drive or on the road outside your house. Skips can also be dropped at business, offices or factories. For contractors and builders, we also offer waste disposal services for customer locations.
  2. Do I need permission from the council to place a skip on the road?
    Yes. you will need to obtain a permit from your local Council. They will charge a small fee for the skip to be placed on the road. We would be happy to arrange a skip permit for you.
  3. What is the average size of a skip?
    Average skips range between 6 to 8 cubic yards. For big refurbishment work or for construction work we also supply roll on-off bins.
  4. What if I cannot get a skip license?
    For skip permit problems, we offer a wait and load service, where the driver will wait while you load the skip. Please contact us for further information.
  5. Is there anything that I cannot put in a skip?
    In accordance with environmental legislation, fridge freezers, asbestos and tyres are not permitted to be placed in or beside a skip. However, if you do require a fridge or freezer collection, we will be happy to arrange a dedicated vehicle to dispose of these for you.
  6. Are there any skip loading requirements?
    Skips must be level-loaded at all times to ensure safety and that rubbish remains contained whilst in transit.
  7. How long can I keep a skip?
    The price is for a 2 week hire period. You can arrange for exchanges or collections before the 2 weeks is up.
  8. How do I book a skip?
    You can call us at 01442 233022 to arrange deliveries, collections and exchanges of skips or you can book online.
  9. How much notice do I need to give?
    24 hour notice is usually required for deliveries and exchanges. However, if you call us before 9:00 am, we can offer same day service for local areas. We can guarantee a next day service for either the morning or afternoon. For people who have a tight schedule, we will do out utmost to work around your requirements.
  10. What happens with my waste after it is taken away in a skip?
    Skips are taken back to our fully licensed waste transfer station where we aim to recycle 70% of all waste to ensure that the minimum amount of rubbish goes to landfill.
